Easy everyday look suitable for work and everyday. It's so easy, natural and minimal that it's hard to look like a plastic clown afterwards! It will work even for monolids and single lids. I explain the approach to thinking why any tutorials with "double lidded" people are still applicable to you!
Watch the vid and see below for how and why!

Reason behind my product, application and colour choices:
EYES
Eyeshadow is simple but classy. It's the next step up from using just one colour eyeshadow wash across the lids to having a few colours that help bring more dimension and shape to your eyes :)
Flatters all types of eyelids including the single-lid/monolid ladies!
FACE
Why put more product on than you need - let your skin breathe where possible! Why waste more time than you need - there's always something else that is waiting for your attention.
The BBcream used helps wrinkle improvement, acts as a moisturiser, pore filler/primer, sunscreen, whitening agent and of course coverage all in one!
Mineral powder foundation is the perfect product to help hide blemishes and pimples because the ingredients are totally pure. This is great for sensitive, acne or damaged skin! Mineral foundation
powder also aid in oil control and are gentle to the skin plus non-comedogenic (non pore clogging). The ingredients are inert and natural minerals free of oils, waxes and silicones, so the foundation lasts for a long time while being preservative free! (the only thing is that sometimes you introduce your own oils into the foundation and that's the bit that will go bad...but regardless it lasts a lot longer than liquid/cream products because bacteria generally prefer moist/oil rich environments :) )
Due to the mica ingredient in the mineral powder foundations they have reflect light and minimize the appearance of fine lines. I find once it settles into the skin and throughout the day the skin's natural oil mixes with the minerals , the flaws actually become less noticeable! I've gone to the gym with it and I find it actually pretty water resistant, but it's also not a hassle trying to get it to wash off with face wash :)
For blush, I've gone for peach toned one because as I said in the video, depending on placement it can have a slight contouring effect. But nevertheless it gives your cheeks a colour that is warm and inviting. With pinks, you could go wrong if you don't place it right or have the right shade of pink or if you are too heavy handed - my mum used to like using this imagery to scare me off makeup when i was little :monkey bums...
LIPS
Keeping the colours neutral with beiges/browns for winter. Or I think coral is an easy but interesting colour to wear for summer, or even simply just use a sheer nude/pink/peach lip gloss will look super nice! (Because the eyes are so neutral you could actually adapt the lips to wear with a red lippie, but if you're not tidy with application or find the right shade of red - the clown appearance may surface...which contradicts the title of the blog post today :p)
Good luck -I hope this tutorial works great for you!
